Obituary for Ana Flores (Marcano)

Ana E. Flores (nee Marcano), 94, passed away September 14, 2019. Ana was the beloved mother of Elba (late Juan) Ramirez, Carmen Santana, Evelyn (Daniel Jr) Murphy, Zulma Himpelmann late Ana Geschrey; dear mother in law of Gerald; proud grandmother of Lourdes, Jorge, Rafael, Antonio, Madeline, Kevin, Melissa, Lisa, Barbara, Kimberly, Megan and Jonathan; cherished great grandmother of Becky, Morgan, Taylor, Anthony, Alex, Elianne, Brian, Tiana, Christian, Crystal, Angie, Mikey, Brent, Cameron, Aidan, Jameson, Mason, Jaxon, Tiffany, Mady, Kat, Nolan, Kyler, Chace, Emma, Shane and Kason; fond great great grandmother of Jade, Ivy, Reznor, Derek, Alaina; loving sister of Sixto and late Wilfredo and Rafael; She will be missed by many nieces, nephews. She was preceded in death by her late ex-husband and close friend Ignacio.

Ana loved gardening, she especially liked roses. She was a teacher at CPS and opened their first bilingual program. Family was very important to Ana. Anytime there was a party or dinner she had to have everyone there.

Memorial visitation Friday September 20, 10:30am until time of memorial service 12:30pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 333 S. Roselle Road (1/2 mile South of Irving Park Road) Roselle. Cremation was private at Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers donations to the Dementia Society of America https://www.dementiasociety.org/donate or the Alzheimers Association www.alz.org would be appreciated.
