Obituary for Tony Klesen Jr.

Master Sergeant Anthony James “Tony” Klesen Jr, 73, of Bartlett, died Thursday, February 6, 2020. Born September 11, 1946 in Chicago. Tony earned his bachelors degree at Southwest Texas State University and his masters from University of Southern California. He was a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force for over 20 years. While in the military he was a communications superintendent and meteorological and navigations systems technician. After retiring from the Air Force Tony worked as a quality engineer for Raytheon and Lockheed Martin. He was proud of being a fourth-degree knight in the St. Isidore Knights of Columbus. Tony was incredibly handy and could fix anything. He enjoyed cars, animals, fishing and was an avid animation enthusiast. He will be missed by his family. Beloved husband of Patricia (Nee Kowalski) and the late Stephanie (Nee Radliff); loving dad of Anthony James III and Kimberly Ann (Christopher) Stanley; cherished grandpa of Dakota and caring son of the late Anthony James, Sr and Eleanor (Nee Soske); proud owner of Precious the dog and Missy the cat. Memorial visitation Thursday, February 13 from 3:00p.m. until time of service 7:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 333 S Roselle Rd (1/4 mile south of Irving Park Rd), Roselle. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory. Burial at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
