Obituary for Christine Karman
Christine M. Karman, 80, of Elgin, IL passed away on December 11, 2022. Chris was the beloved mother of Michael (Vicki), Ann (Bill), Catherine (Chris), Nancy (Andy), and Bobbie (Tomme); loving grandma of Ashley (Travis), Sarah (Eric), Kelly, Abbey, Holly, Mikey (McKayla), Georgia, Charlie and Maddy; cherished “Bonus” grandma of Amanda, Robby, Elizabeth, Hannah, Andrew, Thomas, Renee, and Jessica; and darling great-grandma of Lucy and Winnie. Chris will also be missed by Willy, her loyal Boston Terrier. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Bob, her parents Ted and Marie Stanley, her sisters Arlene and Mary.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 8:30 am until time of prayers 9:30 am at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. Streamwood/Schaumberg, IL 60107. A funeral mass will follow at 10:00 am at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 502 S Park Blvd, Streamwood, IL 60107. Following the funeral mass, cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ascension Alexian Brothers Hospice, 2601 Navistar Drive, Building 4, Floor 1, Lisle, IL 60532 or Animal House Shelter 13005 Ernesti Road Huntley, Il 60142.
