Debra Thomas, resident of Streamwood IL, entered into eternal glory Saturday June 18, 2022 at the age of 70. She passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side.
Debra, also known as Deb, Debbie, Dubra, UAL Trixie, Mom, and Noni, was born and raised on the south side of Chicago where she attended Kennedy High School. She later earned a degree in special education and began her teaching career. In 1985 she began her career at United airlines where she would stay until her retirement in 2015.
Debra was a fun and inspiring woman and the life of every party. She loved to travel and her job at United enabled her to see the world. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, parents, sister, brothers, cousins, aunts, and uncles. She loved sharing her love of good food and wine with her good friends and extended United Airline family.
She is survived by her children Michele Brooks, Jason (Kim) Brooks and Renee Rose; grandma of Nicole, Jordan and Thomas Witkowski, Brandon (Kagan) Brooks and Grace Brooks, Austin and Alex Rose; great grandma of Theodore and Abraham Hall; sister of Robert, Jr. (Cindy) Pac, Diane (Nick) Tragos and the late Mike (Marge) Pac; daughter of Robert Pac (Adele) and Elsie Kaenel (late Albert Kaenel) and aunt of many nieces and nephews and many cousins and friend to countless people who loved her.
Visitation Saturday, June 25th, 2:00 pm until time of service 6:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 South Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood. Cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
