Obituary for Denny Pelarinos

Visitation for Denny Pelarinos of Schaumburg will be held Friday, July 24, 2020 4:00 - 8:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Trisagon Service 4:00p.m. Funeral and Interment private.

**Due to current COVID-19 guidelines a max. of 50 people will be allowed in the funeral home and masks are required.

Denny is the beloved husband of Pamela (nee Durkin); Loving Father of Thomas and Andrew Pelarinos. Son to George Pylarinos and Julia Ainalakis Lulias (George). Brother of George Ainalakis; Beloved Uncle (Theio) to Elena Ainalakis.

He will be dearly missed by many including: Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, Brother-in-laws, Sister-in-laws, Stepbrothers, Stepsisters, and friends in America and Greece.

Denny was born and baptized in Alikanas, Zakynthos, Greece. He came to America at a young age. He was always working more than one job at a time to live the American dream. He enjoyed music, sports, home improvement, and keeping active throughout his life. Over 30 years ago, he met and married the woman of his dreams. He had so much pride becoming a father of two wonderful sons. He was a hardworking proud man providing for his family. He loved travelling with his family back to visit his huge wonderful family in Greece. He enjoyed practical jokes with his family, friends, and neighbors, keeping everyone on their toes.

His active health changed upon diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis and later a brain tumor. Through all of the treatments and tribulations, he always kept his sense of humor.

He was a member of St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church in Elgin and AHEPA Chapter #423 DuPage.
