Condolence: I am so sorry for your loss. The scriptures point to a time in the near future when God will rescue those who have died from the grave. “From the power of the Grave I will redeem them; From death I will recover them. Where are your stings, O Death? Where is your destructiveness, O Grave? Compassion will be concealed from my eyes.” (Hosea 13:14) God will bring those who have died back to life, and he will destroy death. No more will we deal with the stings of death. Rather, all living will have the prospect of living forever in paradise on earth. May this hope for the future comfort your grieving hearts.
