Edward Philip Roberts, Jr., 74, of Chicago, passed away Friday, March 29. An Air Force Veteran, Ed was a truck driver for Fed Ex for 34 years, and an avid Cubs and Bears fan who loved the outdoors, camping, hunting, and fishing. Beloved father of Carolyn Roberts(Mario Silva) and Edward Roberts III(Jennifer Meverdin); cherished grandfather of Sawyer and Lucas; fond brother of Daniel(the late Sandra) and Susan Roberts; dear uncle of Randy, Deborah, Kristin, and the late Richard Roberts, Ramona Roberts and Joseph Jodlowski; proud great uncle of Josh, Savannah, Thomas, Richard, Rhiannon, Austin, Alina, Lucas, and Brayden. Visitation Wednesday, April 3 from 11:00am until time of service 1:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd., Bartlett. Cremation private at Countryside Crematory.
