I have been sending a Christmas card to Mrs. Baker (and of course, Mr. Baker) all of my adult life. From the 6th grade, to my wedding, to my baby shower, Mrs. Baker was a part of my life for decades. In recent years we had drifted apart simply due to the busyness of life, and I am devastated to read of her passing. My deepest sympathies to her family. She made an enormous impact on so many of her students. I have beautiful memories and am thankful to have known her. RIP.

So sorry to learn that Mrs. Baker passed away. She was a wonderful teacher, my favorite teacher of all time. She was always so kind and patient. May she rest in peace.

I had the wonderful opportunity to work with Ellen and Doug while I was a Police Officer in Streamwood. Ellen’s passion for her neighborhood was unbelievable to say the least. I will have fond memories of Ellen for the rest of my days. Rest In Peace Ellen.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I always have great memories of visiting your parents home and seeing you, Norm, and Pam. Although I didn't know Ellen, it sounds like she and you had a very fulfilling life together. God bless you and your family.

I was saddened to see Ellen's name in the newspaper. Ellen and I attended Immaculata together so many years ago. Because she was Vondran and I was Walsh we often sat next to each other or me behind her. We also both rode the Irving Park bus together. She was a kind person who always had a pleasant disposition. Rest in peace Ellen. I will remember her and your family in my prayers.
