Eric Michael Young, 43, of Streamwood died April 26, 2019. Eric was the beloved husband of Terry Meeneghan for 19 years; cherished son of Frosteen and C. Michael Hummel; loving brother of Wayne (April) Young and the late Shawn Young; caring brother in law of Mary (Tru) Page, Katie Richardson and Kevin (Kelly) Meeneghan; fond son in law of Patrick and Peggy Meeneghan; doting uncle of Samantha Young Wagner, Nicholas Young-Farley, Zachary Young and Matthew Young, Veronica and Janessa Young; dear great uncle of Noah and Sarah. He leaves behind other numerous beloved nieces and nephews. Eric will be missed by his sweet dogs Ludvig von Zombie Jackson, Count Charles of Dracule "Chucky", the late Tipy Ann Margaret and the late Lukas Pupcuke The Third.

Eric was a Gentle Giant. He touched everyone he met. He was a friend to everyone, a loyal companion to many, and would never let you leave the house ugly. He took pride in cooking and serving his made up recipes and those that he learned from his mother. He made sure you were well fed. Everyone was family!!!!

Visitation Thursday, May 2, 3:00pm until the time of service 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Road) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Following service cremation will be private at Countryside Crematory.
