Florence A. Smith(nee Grischow),87, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Sept. 25th. She was a long time member of United Church of Christ in Bartlett. She was a huge Cubs fan and finally got to see her beloved team win the World Series. She never missed a game. Most of her life was lived in Bartlett of which she was proud to call home. Preceded in death by husband Charles, George and Alice Grischow and brothers Orland and Leonard. She is survived by 6 children Barbara (late John), Sandra (Scott), Monty (Tina), Kelly, Kimberly (Bill) and Mark (Sue). She has 7 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. Also survived by many brothers, sisters and friends. Her passion was to have family gathered together for holidays and special occasions. Visitation Tuesday, October 1 from 10:00am until time of service 1:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd.(at Stearns Rd.), Bartlett. Interment Lakewood Memorial Park.
