We are deeply sorry for the family of Fred for such a great loss. It was our pleasure and honor to serve Fred while he stayed at Lexington a couple of years ago. He eagerly received communion and said prayers with us when my sister and I had the great honor of bringing Fred communion as ministers of care. We had many interesting conversations about family and faith. He was a devoted husband and father and faithful Catholic. We will all miss seeing him at mass. May God grant him etetnal peace and love and everlasting happiness in heaven.

Dear Welke Family, I want too send to your family my deepest condolences for the loss of your loved one. Losing someone who is so close to you in your heart can be very hard to deal with and heartbreaking, but death is not something that we should have to go through. Death is truly an enemy of ours. Our loving God has promised us all something to look forward to in the near future. A scripture taking from (Reve. 21: 4) says β€œhe will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.” This is a beautiful promise that your family can look forward to that will come true. Sincerely, Ms. Thompson

Welke Family, my deepest sympathy for the loss of an amazing husband and dad. My memories of Fred are how he was steadfast in his faith, always at mass, even wheeling through the snow and slush. A great example of a strong Catholic man who lead his family. This in turn taught his children to be strong people of faith, totally dedicated to their parents in the most loving way I have ever seen parents taken care of. May you rest in the hands of our Lord Jesus, without pain. May your memories give you some peace. Love you. Sophie Byrnes and Family
