Obituary for Gregorio Balmeo

In Loving Memory of Gregorio N. Balmeo

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and dear friend, Gregorio N. Balmeo. His departure leaves a void that no words can fill, yet his legacy of love and kindness, passion for fishing and gardening, and his poetic nature will forever be present in our lives.

Greg loved to meet with people, share stories with them, and share God's word. His generous nature extends to spreading the fruits of his labor from his beloved garden.

We gather not only to mourn but also to celebrate the extraordinary life of a man who came from humble beginnings, did well for himself, and touched our hearts along the way.

Greg is survived by a loving family who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. His beloved wife, Daisy, was not only his life partner since 1969 but his inspiration for his eloquent poetry.

Hyacinth & Leo, his only daughter and son-in-law, cherished his support and the life advice he imparted. The countless fishing adventures he shared with Kristan, Bughaw, Ulan, & Mayumi, his grandchildren, will be forever remembered.

Dennis & Genelyn, his devoted son and daughter-in-law. Dennis has been his tireless care giver and source of strong and steady support while balancing his own busy life.

Dunstan & Noreen, his son and daughter-in-law, will forever remember his words of wisdom that guides them through life's challenges. Jonathan, Jourdan, & Jhuliana, his grandchildren will miss him.

Winkum & Lois, his son and daughter-in-law, have been touched by his unwavering support and love. His grandchildren, Luke, Jacob, & Skyler are saddened by his passing.

His sisters-in-law, Nancy, Beth & Nenette, his brother-in-law Alex & wife Myrna, who has given him enduring affection and steadfast support over the years. Their presence and care were a testament to the close-knit bond that defined our family, and for that, we are immensely grateful.

Please join us as we honor his memory.
