Born 92 years ago under the Big Walnut tree on the family farm in Lublin, Wisconsin.
She’s preceded in death by her parents, John Fryza and Veronica Konczak, husband, Louis Curoso, M.D., siblings and in-laws Bernie Fryza, Chester and Lorraine Fryza, Stella and Edward Komperda, Edmund and Delores Fryza, Martha and Frank Zuber, nephews Edward Komperda Jr., Gary Fryza, Michael Fryza and Bruce Zuber and niece Joyce Komperda.
She is survived by her Daughters, Dianna (Otto) Demke and Louisa (Thomas) Walsh, grandchildren; John, Scott and Laura Walsh, and Owen and Peter Demke, Brigette (Cole) Atcheson-Demke, great-granddaughter, Azazel Alexandria, nieces and nephews; John (Nancy) Fryza, Charmaine (Charlie) Drews, Gene(Wife) Komperda, Geri, Carol(Mark) Pinter, Linda Ramirez, Gloria Nissen, Jeff (Diane) Fryza, Lori Alger, Rena Zuber, Debbie Sweet and Brian Zuber and great nieces and nephews.
At 16, Helen moved to Chicago when her father became employed by Finkl Steel and her mother, at Curtiss Candy Company. Helen graduated Tuley High School and worked at Montgomery Wards, Illinois Bell and Marshall Fields. When her daughters were young, she attended DePaul University and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Nursing. She was employed at Grant Hospital as Medical/Surgical Floor Head Nurse until her retirement. She retired to spend time traveling the world with her husband and living at their home in Biella, Italy. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, shopping, cooking, gardening and sewing.
She will be forever missed for her kind and thoughtful words and her loving ways.
Visitation Friday 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 333 S. Roselle Rd. (1/2 mile South of Roselle Rd.) Roselle.
