Henry "Hank" A. Fritz, 82, of Streamwood since 1974; husband of Joan (nee Landi); father of Cindy (Ed) Bash, Lory (John) Basso, Judy (Ken) Abraham, Cheri (Steve) Maher and Ken; grandfather of Daniel (Kelly), Davis (Yesenia), Doug, Angelo (Caitlin), Tony, Dominic (Courtney), Gino, Matt, Jake, Alex, Trisha and Tyler; great grandfather of Amara, Briella, Logan, Liam, Kaylyn, Jazlyne and Wyatt. Hank was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was also adored by his French bulldog, Marley. Hank always tried to stay busy. He was a hard working man who could fix anything for anyone. He loved to work with wood, making holiday ornaments for friends and family, rebuild bikes. He had an artistic side which would come out when he would paint or draw. He enjoyed going on cruises and going to Disney World. Many family weekends were spent in Woodhaven, Il. Visitation Monday, November 12th, 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Funeral Tuesday, 10:00 am prayers to St. John the Evangelist Church. Mass 11:00 am . Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine, Il. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer’s Association, Illinois Chapter, 8430 W. Bryn Mawr, Suite 800 Chicago, IL 60631 would be appreciated.
