Obituary for James Belmonte
A gathering for James "Jim" Alan Belmonte of Glendale Heights, formerly of Belvidere and Streamwood will be held Saturday, April 2, 2022 4:00p.m. until time of Memorial Service 7:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg.
A singer, songwriter, guitar player and as he was described as "one of the best drummers ever", Jim was a loving friend to many and had a special gift for making people laugh and putting a smile on their face.
Jim is the cherished son of the late Eugene and Joan Belmonte nee Johnson; loving brother of Debbie Wyld; dear uncle of Zachary, Jesse (Brittany) and Lindsay Wyld.
He was also a "Bonus Dad" to Christopher and Stephanie Courtney, "Papa" to Kayleigh and "Bonus Uncle" to too many to mention. (630) 289-8054.
