James “Jim” R. Korzeniowski, 79, of Hoffman Estates, died Wednesday, February 23, 2022 surrounded by his family. Born January 4, 1943 in Leesville, Louisiana. James loved to bowl. He was known for being kind to all that knew him. He will be missed by his family and friends. Beloved husband of over 46 years to Margaret (nee Franz); loving Dad of Kelly (Don Jr) Hardt; cherished grandpa of Alexis (Kyle) and Donnie III; dear son of the late Edwin and Lillian (nee Czarny); and dear brother of Ron and Pam. Visitation 3:00 p.m. until time of service 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at the Countryside Funeral Home, 1640 S Greenmeadows Blvd, Streamwood. Following the service, cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory. Inurnment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery at a later date.
