Gerald (Jerry) F. Nadolski currently of Welaka Florida was born on January 14, 1932, he
joined our Lord on January 12, 2023. The oldest son of Florence and Florian (Lefty) Nadolski.
Preceded in passing by his infant son James Thomas in 1955, Sister Patricia Jeske, brothers
Terry and Wayne Nadolski. He is survived by, his wife, Lucy Alberta Nadolski (Treece), sisters
Barbara DesChenes and Joyce Sullivan (spouse Dennis), brothers Roy and David (spouse Connie), sister-in-law Evelyn Nadolski as well as 119 nephews and nieces, grand-nephews and nieces, and great-grand nephews and nieces.

Jerry was a substantial presence in any room with his dashing good looks, radiant smile and
resonant voice. He was a born storyteller, with a memory to match, who often linked his stories
to value, inflation, and reflections, having grown up in the shadow of the Great Depression. He
and Lucy were the epitome of frugality, and recycled everything before people knew what that
meant. He was born in the inner city of Chicago, served his country in the Army in Korea,
returned and married the Love of his life Lucy (married 68 Years). Upon returning to Chicago
he joined his family in the building of a prosperous metal finishing business, holding the line
against pricing increases measured in pennies per hundreds.

His preferred mode of transportation was a Harley motorcycle. He and Lucy would travel in
large groups most weekends and holidays. He was a natural leader who inspired others. These
among other attributes led him to become President of the Alley Cats motorcycle club. Among
the many places visited they traveled to Alaska where they rode the entire ALCAN Highway,
when it was just a dirt road on just two wheels with Lucy saddled behind him. As he traversed
the U.S. and the World he would frequently visit family and friends, Moose Lodges and VFW
Posts weaving a blanket of familiarity and enduring friendships.

Eventually they sought refuge in the countryside, migrating from the hustle of business owner, to
the joys and labors of farming and animal husbandry in Wisconsin. His consistent engineering
and mechanical prowess resulted in countless repairs and fabrication of whatever needed to
be created or improved upon and to stretch the dollar. He retired to the small town of Welaka,
Florida to live out his life fishing, golfing, and playing cribbage with the love of his life. He added
great value and much joy to many lives. Info (630)289-8054.
