Joan M. Ward, of Streamwood, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2023.

Joan was a loving mother to Kimberly Garth, Kevin Ward, and Kristopher Ward; a caring grandmother of 4 and great-grandmother of 3; a fond sister to Judy (Norman) Olson, Larry Plagman, and Lynn Plagman; and a dear aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Joan was a passionate and adventurous woman who loved dogs, traveling, and walks in nature. She was also a loyal fan of the Green Bay Packers, Chicago Cubs, and NASCAR.

She was a kind and caring person who will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She will be remembered for her love of life, her sense of humor, and her strong will.

Services will be held at a later date in accordance with her wishes.
