Obituary for John "Jack" Kremer

John "Jack" Kremer, age 93, died peacefully in his sleep on August 16,
2022.

John, beloved husband of Jacquelyn (Richter) for 68 years, father of
Mike (Rhonda), Deb (Mike), Sue (Ray), John (Janet), Lisa (John), Dave
(Michele), and Bruce (Chrissy), 20 grandchildren,16 great-grandchildren,
loving son of the late John and Minnie Kremer, dear sister Jeanne
Banner, late sister Marie Kremer, and fond uncle to all his nieces and
nephews.

John grew up in Norwood Park, graduated from Amundsen High School and
continued his financial education. He played recreational baseball from
a young age and well into his 40’s. He had many friends, enjoyed playing
card games and played bridge for over 45 years with the same couples.
Jack volunteered for the Village of Schaumburg in early 1960s, assisting
with finance items. Jack worked at Engis Corporation as the Comptroller
for over 25 years, became a member of the Board of Directors, and
remained a Board Member the remainder of his life. After his retirement,
he volunteered for the Schaumburg Township, helping seniors with taxes.
Then baseball season came. Jack had season tickets to the Chicago Cubs
for 25 years, taking his children and grandchildren to Wrigley Field,
and made many Cub's fans! He was a kind man with a big heart that never
met anyone he didn't like. Most importantly, he loved his family.
