Obituary for June Fanslow (Dumke)
Visitation for June C. Fanslow nee Dumke, a resident of Schaumburg since 1969, will be held Saturday, January 21, 2023 3:00 - 8:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Sunday Lying in State 12:30p.m.until time of service 1:00p.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church 202 E. Schaumburg Rd. Schaumburg. Interment St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery.
June was a loving mom who was joyful in nature and truly felt she was blessed. She enjoyed spending time with friends, and nothing was more important to her than her family. June retired at age 69, having loved all her bosses she worked for as an HR assistant. When she wasn’t working, she spent her time cooking family dinners, singing in the choir and playing handbells, bowling, and going to card club. More recently, she loved her judge and game shows, visits to Lynfred for a glass of wine, playing Yahtzee, and doing crossword puzzles.
She is the adored wife of the late John; loving mother of Judy Fanslow, Jane Ellen (Gregory Pratt) Fanslow and Jodie Scaminaci; cherished grandmother of Bradley and Kyle Scaminaci, and Yordanka Fanslow-Pratt; dear sister of Carol (the late John) Errera and Linda (Al) Teschner; caring aunt of Chris Errera, Kim (Kevin) Gray, Laura (Mark) Licht and Mike Teschner.
