Lawrence "Larry" Bonner, 78, of Elgin, passed away Sunday, January 20. Larry had a passion for golf and watching basketball, but most of all spending time with his family, feeling his wife and children were his greatest accomplishments. Never afraid to strike up a conversation with a stranger, his eyes sparkled when he talked and laughed. Beloved husband of Susan(nee Garbrecht); loving father of Heidi Stolt, Laura(Jim) Wormsley, and the late Larry(Estela); proud grandfather of Tom and Mallory Stolt, Eric, Stephan, Savannah, and the late Ian Bonner, and Alexis, Sydney, Jimmy, and Brooke Wormsley; dear son of the late Hale and Ruth Bonner and the late Frank and Edna Bohlin; fond brother of Judith(Jim) Salisbury, Jim(Jill) Rathe, and the late Linda(Jim) Butler.
