Obituary for Louise Ferrante

Louise S. Ferrante (nee Erickson) 87 passed away on 9-6-2022 surrounded by family. Was married 69 years to late Andrew V. Ferrante in 2008. Louise lived in Hanover Park for 60 years until her recent illness where she moved in with her daughter in Hendersonville TN. until her death.

She had 3 children; Michael Ferrante, George Ferrante and a daughter Karen (Ferrante) Poynor and spouse Brian. 4 grandsons; George and Tara Ferrante, Jason Ferrante, Andrew and Andrea Ferrante, Alexander and April Poynor and 3 granddaughters; Katie and Brock Lovelace, Raquel Ferrante, Abbie and Josh Ghera. 14 Great-grandchildren: Samantha, Luke Martell, Juliana and Emma Boyso, Skylee Ferrante. Josie Lovelace, Hannah and Tyler Ferrante, Finley, Reese and Henry Ghera, Alexander, Addison, and Andrew Poynor. 1 Great-great grandchild Savannah Scott. Louise had 12 siblings the late Mary Erickson, George Erickson, Madolyn (L-Quentin) Martin, Dennis Erickson. Surviving siblings Kathleen (L-Simm) Powell, Lillian (L-Sonny) Hosrtman, Patricia Woods, Tommy and Aurelia Erickson, Bryan and Beverly Erickson, Rosanne and Anthony Baldassano, Kenny and Elaine Erickson. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Louise otherwise known as Wheeze to all who new and loved her, had a very large family which was her pride and joy. She loved a good cup of tea and coffee cakes from the good Chicago bakeries. She loved playing games with all her grandkids, decorating her tree and having them over to help put up ornaments. Family gatherings were her biggest delight she never missed one. She always had such wit and wisdom to share with all of us. She will be greatly missed.

Visitation Tuesday September 13, 10:00am until time of service 1:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 S. Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Road) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery. Louise loved flowers, please feel free to send them if you would like to.
