Luis Rodriguez Jr, 73, of Hanover Park, died Thursday, July 11, 2019. Luis was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Mary's Millennium Council 12801. He loved his garden and was skilled at growing new things, but his greatest passion was always his family and faith. Beloved husband of Susan (nee Seyller); loving dad of James (Raquel); cherished grandpa Damaris, James Jr; dear son of the late Luis Sr and Rebecca (nee Montemayor); kind brother of Jerry, Ruben (Michelle), Rene, Raul (Sarah), Yolanda (Mario) Castaneda, Mary (Larry) Jolley, Diane (Beto) Cantu, Edna (Paul) Durham, Becky (Jerry) Potter, Alciria (Apolinar) Gutierrez, Linda (Manuel) Gutierrez and the late Mario (the late Renee) and Carlos; fond uncle of several nieces and nephews and dear brother-in-law of Linda Roberts. Visitation 3:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. Thursday, July 18, 2019 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett. Funeral Friday 9:15a.m. to St John the Evangelist Church. Following Mass cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory. Inurnment Lakewood Memorial Park.
