Luka M. Kasich, 97, of Streamwood, died Thursday, March 21, 2019. Born October 18, 1921 in Drnis in former Yugoslavia. Luka was a member of the Schaumburg Seniors Club and enjoyed Bingo, Bowling and Bocci where he was known as the “Professor”. He was a member of Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Church. Luka will be missed by his family and friends. Beloved husband of the late Isabel; loving dad of Lilijana “Lili” (Mohammed) El Said; cherished grandfather of Yasmin, Layla (Ahmed), Ibrahim, Besima (Hershell), Sarah (Nik) and Michael (Rachel); dear great grandpa of Noah, Nadia, Brooklyn, Mila, Elijah, and Grace; kind son of late Petar and Ika (nee Milovac) and brother of the late Dusan, Sinasa, Milé, Boya and Stana. Visitation Saturday 10:00a.m. until time of service 11:00a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2019 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns), Bartlett. Interment Lakewood Memorial Park.
