Margaret D. Dowling of Hanover Park passed away on January 27, 2021. For sixty-six years she was the beloved wife of the late James Dowling. Born May 6th 1929 to the Late Clayton and Charlotte Hild. Sister to Emma (late Albert) Hofstede. Loving Mother to Charlotte (Mark) Feicho, Joseph Dowling, Alice (Jack) Melhuish, Margaret (Michael) Roberts, Clare (Jim) Herriman, Thomas (Nancy) Dowling, Peter (Michelle) Dowling, Patty(Scott)Michelsen. Proud Grandmother to 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Friends too numerous to count. She had an amazing capacity for friendship. She was treasured by so many.

Margaret graduated from DePaul University in Education. She was a teacher at Anne Fox Elementary school. She was an avid Cubs fan. She enjoyed playing cards and crocheting.

Visitation Tuesday February 2, 3:00pm - 7:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 S. Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Road) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Funeral Wednesday 9:15am to St. Marcelline Church, Mass 10:00am. Burial St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
