Obituary for Mary Papa
Mary L. Papa (nee Wagner) of Bartlett; beloved wife of her high school sweetheart John; loving mom of Carolyn (Jesse) Novotny and Laura; cherished granmmy June of Caleb, Ella, John, Mya and Ava; dear sister of Charles (Marcia), James, Margaret (Ted) Ostman and Nancy (Alan) Nishiguchi; many loving nieces and nephews.
She was a devoted Grammy June who enjoyed shopping, travel and loved Disney. Mary was a strong, courageous, intelligent woman. She adored children and was the June Cleaver of Bartlett. She had a strong faith, always remaining positive. She made the lives of all those she encountered a little brighter. She will be missed by many but never forgotten.
Visitation Sunday, January 27, 3:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd., (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Funeral Monday, 9:15 a.m. to St. Peter Damian Church. Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Michael the Archangel. In lieu of flowers donations to Juvenile Diabetes Association at www.jdrf.org would be appreciated.
