Obituary for Mitchell Cain
Visitation for Mitchell Vincent Cain of Streamwood since the early 1980's will be held Sunday, September 26, 2021 9:00a.m. until time of memorial service 11:00a.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory.
Mitchell is the beloved father of Ryan (Sarah) Cain and Nicole (Christopher) Daily; cherished grandfather of Collin and Landon Cain, Landon and Lucas Daily; loving brother of Michael (the late Margaret), Maureen (Joe) Muhlbaier; dear uncle of Lance, Shawn and Stacey.
Mitchell was a dedicated employee of School District U-46, having served as a maintenance worker at Sunnydale, Centennial, Washington, and many other schools before retiring in 2017.
Mitchell had the unique ability to make friends with everyone, anywhere he went. His infectious smile and big personality drew in those around him. Some of Mitchell's favorite things were spending time with his grandkids, sharing laughs with his friends, listening to live music, cheering on his favorite football team- the Green Bay Packers and Playing the role of Santa Claus for kids throughout the community at Christmas time.
