Nick was a mentor to me and I learned a lot when I was working for him, both personal and professional. I know Nick enjoyed woodworking and he would show me some of the projects he had done or was working on. I especially liked the rocking horse he made for his grandchild. The time and quality he put into his work was very impressive and for years now when doing my own wood projects in the garage he often crosses my mind.

I was blessed with some visits with Nick after I left the company we worked at. You could tell he genuinely enjoying getting a beer and hearing our stories... and continuing to give me a hard time no matter what. I remember when I showed up to one of our gathering late. I was going to propose to my wife that weekend and I was late because I had to pick up the ring that night. Somehow Nick knew something was up and that I had the ring in my pocket, he kept at it till I split the beans; of course Nick jokingly tried to talk me out of it. :)

I'll miss his laugh and his smirk during his quest of giving me a hard time.

Thank you Nick for everything you have taught me and shown me. Thank you for your patience, and thank you for all the memories.

Nick was our teacher, we learned a lot beside him, humanely and professionally.
He always took care of his collegues, especially the French ones.
We lost a very nice and irreplaceable person.
Thanks Nick for everything, we will never forget you.
