We miss you so much it hurts. I know that it was your time but selfishly we all wanted more time with you. I'm happy that you were at home surrounded by everyone who loved you and that you are no longer hurting. You will be in all of our hearts forever and there will not be a day that goes by without me thinking of you and remembering your sweet voice. We will all go on, taking care of each other - especially mom. She is in good hands. Over time, our hearts will feel less broken and instead of tears, we will be smiling when talking or thinking about you. You were such a good dad, grandpa, Papa GG and Gampa and now we all have you watching over us. We all love you and for now, I'll see you in my dreams.

Missing you today dad. Bill and I had Jersey Mikes for lunch; of course I thought if you. This is still so hard to accept. Rest easy knowing your beautiful family will take great care of mom and one another. Love you with all my heart. ❤️💔🌸

Thinking of you today Grandpa. I have learned so much from you and you have always been there for me whenever I needed you or just needed a friend to talk to. Never a day I couldn't count on you. I'll never forget going to the Cubs game with you as a kid, and it pouring rain on us :) Yet you never let a smile off your face, because you were with me. I can remember going to the movie theather with you to go see a movie you wanted to see and grandma didnt. Which this continued to just a month ago when you didnt want to be a part of a "girl" baby shower as most MEN dont go. lol. Matt and I came over all day and had probably the most memorable time with you. I will never forgot our conversations that day. Ever. I hold that dear to my heart, you are a true hero, friend, father, husband, grandpa, great grandpa, and just overall person. I am so thankful you were able to make it to Danii and I's wedding and share that amazing day with us. I hope you are at ease now. The last few days with you were hard, but yet so amazing to be surrounded by family with you. I will always remember you. Something for you Grandpa will be my next tattoo :) We will be visiting you from time to time. I love you, and till we meet again. SKOL.

I love you grandpa and miss you. I will forever cherish the memories we had together. I enjoyed fine dining with you and watching sports with you. I loved talking movies with you whenever you would go to the theater and catch a new movie. The Halloween parties you and grandma hosted are among some of the best memories I have. Talking with you was such a unique experience. You would listen and provide constructive honest feedback. I will miss calling you on Veterans Day wishing you a happy day. I love how we had a movie day a couple months ago and had an incredible memorable chat. Wes and I will never forget that. I am also thankful you were able to see the house that Jena and I are living in. You were also able to meet our dog Kenzie who absolutely loved you and you loved her. The picture provided shows proof that Kenzie gravitated towards grandpa within minutes of meeting him. That is the amazing thing about you. It did not take long for people and animals to understand how amazing of a person you were. Everyone gravitated towards your positivity and your happiness. Life will never be the same without having you in it. I love you and will see you again.
