Obituary for Richard Zych
Richard Francis Zych, 84, of Streamwood died September 19, 2022. Richard was the beloved husband of Mary (nee Coyne) for 61 years; loving father of Kathleen (John) Zych-Stanko, Daniel Richard (Julie Ann) Zych and Michael Francis (Sue) Zych; proud grandfather of Colleen (Andrew) Clesen, Johnny Stanko, Stephanie, Todd, Delaney, Bradley (Erica) and Kelley Zych; cherished great grandfather of Grant, Delilah, Jake, McKenzie and one on the way; dear brother of Robert Zych, the late Edward Kulas and Kenny Zych; close cousin of Ron Stutler. He will be missed by many loving nieces nephews and cousins.
Rich was a Chicago sports fan and a member of the Knight of Columbus. He coached little league baseball for 40 years and was a starting partner for the Streamwood Boys Football in 1973. Rich enjoyed painting, fishing and gardening.
Visitation Thursday Sept 22, 2022 4:00 - 8:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Funeral Friday 9:15a.m. to St. John the Evangelist Church. Mass 10:00a.m. Interment St. Michael the Archangel.
