Robert “Bob” Ogurek, 86, of Bolingbrook, formerly Streamwood, died Wednesday, February 19, 2020. Born January 20, 1934 in Chicago. Robert was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army. He was an avid Chicago sports fan who especially loved the Cubs. He will be missed by his family. Beloved husband of Hedwig (nee Winiecki), loving dad of Kevin (Sandra), Pamela (Robert) Wickersham and the late Bobby; cherished grandpa of Jessica (Alex), Christian (Nicole), Matthew, Ashley and Amberly; dear great grandpa of Tyler, Liam, McKenzie, Juliette, Hunter, Lukas, Mason and Ryan; kind son of the late Edward and Stella and dear brother of Tom and Patricia. Visitation 4:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. with a service at 6:00p.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 1640 S Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Rd) Streamwood. Following services cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory. Burial of cremains at St Michael the Archangel Cemetery at a later date.
