Roger Allen turner, 51, of Hanover Park (since 1998) and formerly of Chicago, loving dad of Amanda and Lauren; cherished grandpa of Kaveah Terry, Nala Terry and Ava Beljaeff; dear brother of Tammy Gongaware, Danny Thomas, Melody (Rodney) Turner - Godoy, Daniel John, Pamela Hillman and Rebecca Johns; beloved son of Mark (Darlene) and Joan, nee Ferro; fond uncle of Matthew, Matty, Nick, Alison, TJ, Brody, Alyssa and Robbie and the late Danny Sean and Jake; best friend of Dave and a true friend to many. Roger worked at Loeber Motors in Lincolnwood as the parts manager. On his days off he loved to jam out on his guitar(s) with his band Spark Plug Assassins. He also enjoyed going on trips with his daughters and grandchildren, visiting Arizona, Germany and Disney World to name a few places. Visitation Wednesday 3:00 pm until time of service 8:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 S. Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood. Cremation will be private at the Countryside crematory. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
