Obituary for Sarabjit Kaur

Sarabjit Kaur, 72, of Elgin, daughter of Gina; grandmother of 3 beautiful granddaughters. My mom, Sarabjit Kaur, was an amazing women. Her strength and faith in the lord defined her. She sacrificed a lot in her life for good of others and always put others first before herself. She never depended on anyone and always gave immense love to everyone. She was such a joyful women who never thought bad of anyone but respected everyone even when they were the people that caused her pain. Who I am today is because of my mother’s sacrifice and blessings. She has done so much for me and I’m utterly grateful for that. She always liked everything clean and perfect and wouldn’t sit still for a minute. Even though she stayed home, she always got dressed and looked her best. She never wanted to be dependent on anyone and never was. Even if she was feeling down, she would still push herself to get up and go on with her day. She always said that if she is moving around then should would stay fit but if she sat down then she wouldn’t be able to do anything and would become dependent on others. She was a very powerful and strong women. I’m blessed to be her daughter. May god rest her in peace and unite her with her loved ones in heaven. Visitation and funeral Friday, November 1st, 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett.
