Sherri was my classmate at United. She always called me by my nickname β€œHoagie” She laughed because most of the instructors pronounced my name wrong. Hoaglund. They would say hog land. I would say it’s like a Hoagie sandwich but drop the ie and add Lund. I will miss your quick wit and zest for practical jokes. It was a honor having you as a friend and dear classmate 2/11/89. When πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ U.K. opens I’m going to have a pint in your name at the Monkey πŸ’ Puzzle. Love you. My sincere condolences to Nancy, Jan, John, and her working Buddy Bob.

My first memory of Sherri was at her home prior to Kindergarten. She was riding the battery operated miniature Pontiac car which I immediately proclaimed "Daddy, I want one!". Throughout school and life, Sherri and I always remained distant yet fond friends. Our lives paralleled in love of horses, work travel, etc. but never overlapped well. I may have been one friend who saw more of her at work than any other.... since we randomly reconnected on United flights from time to time. I was a preferred United traveler and she a preferred United travel professional. Sherri had a huge heart and she was able to share it in the work she did and the activities (horses) she loved. She will be truly missed by so many. I hope your Faith strengthens you all at this difficult time. I pray that everyone's pain will subside quickly replaced by ability to celebrate the joy of Sherri and her life with us. God bless Sherri! See you in those (heavenly) Friendly Skies!

I'm so glad we reconnected at our class reunion in 2012. You will always be my hero for finishing college in 4 years.
(I am not in the pic because I took it.)
Rest in Peace. Peace and Comfort to John.

My Dearest Ree Ree. Sheri.. Im at such a loss. You being the baby cousin leaving us first has hurt my heart so very much. My memories with Nana and I taking the train down all the time . Me hauling all my Barbie down. The three of us playing Under the Stairs .Nancy sitting in a chair reading a book . Us going to the horse shows. Having great dinners with Uncle Nick and Aunt Jane. Going to that huge mall. Chatting with you on FB. As the baby cousin you weren't supposed to go first. I shall miss you Ree. Always and Forever.. Cousin Cheryl πŸ’”πŸ’œβœ¨πŸ’«πŸŒ±
