Allan V. Podolak, 73, of Carol Stream. Beloved husband of 52 years to Lourdes “Lourri” (nee Segura); loving dad of Judith “Judy” (Ken) Haug, Margaret “Peggy” Swegles, Robert “Rob” and Angela “Angie” (Mike) Lotz; cherished grandpa of Erica, Julia, Leesha (Luke), Aidan, Soren, Amanda, Anabelle, Anthony, Alec. Michael, Jackie, Alexis and Domonique and great-grandpa of Trenton and Adler; dear son of the late Walter and Helen (nee Kupczyk); caring brother of Diana, twin Walter and the late Richard and several nieces and nephews. Visitation 3:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. Friday, August 4, 2017 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 1640 S Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Rd, Streamwood/Schaumburg. Funeral Saturday 9:45a.m. to St. Marcelline Church, Mass 10:30a.m. Following Mass cremation at the Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org, would be appreciated.
