Obituary for Bernard Bittner

Services for Bernard J. Bittner of Genoa, formerly of Streamwood will be held Friday 1:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Interment Evergreen Cemetery in Barrington.

Visitation will be held Friday 11:00a.m. until the time of service.

Born April 2, 1963 in Arlington Heights, Bernard died Monday March 29, 2010 in De Kalb.

He is a huge New York Yankee fan and described as a “Jack of all Trades” for his enjoyment of working around the house and garage remodeling, fixing things and working on cars.

Bernard is the beloved husband of 25 years of Elizabeth nee Coombs; loving father of Christopher and Elisha; proud grandfather of C.J. and dear brother of Chloie Kuntzendorf and many loving siblings, relatives and friends.
