Obituary for Carole Ann Lawler

Carole Ann Fitzpatrick Lawler

Departed this life on May 2, 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of 75. Survived by one sister, Mary Lou and her six surviving children; James (Maryann), Daniel, Ted, Brian (Anna), Karen (Greg Nagel and Jayne. Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Preceeded in death by her parents, two sisters, one brother and her husband John Patrick and son, John Patrick Jr.

Carole was born in Chicago, IL and graduated from Thomas Kelly HS, Class of 1959. She married John Lawler in 1960 and lived and raised her 7 children in Streamwood, IL for 25 years. She worked at St. John's the Evangelist Catholic School in Streamwood for several years where her children attended. After her husbands passing, she relocated to Las Vegas, NV where she worked for Wal-Mart for 20 years until her death. She enjoyed crocheting, attending her childrens sport events as they were growing up. Carole also enjoyed playing video poker at the Casinos in her leisure. Carol will be deeply missed by her family, her many friends and will be always remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Memorial and visitation will be on Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 12-3pm at Countryside Funeral Home, 1640 S Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.), Streamwood, IL 60107. Interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Elgin, IL for family will be at a later date.
