Obituary for Chirag Patel

Chirag Ramesh Patel, of Chicago, died November 5, 2016. Chirag was the cherished son of Charulata and the late Ramesh Patel; loving brother of Raj (Pamela); proud uncle of Jayson and Nathan. He will also be missed by his adoring Haribhai and Babubhai cousins, uncles, and aunts; and his many close friends. Chirag was the Director of IT at C&R Research where he was well respected and admired by his many co-workers. He earned his Bachelor's in Computer Science from Northeastern Illinois University and his Master's in Information Technology from DePaul University. Chirag was an avid Chicago Bulls and Cubs fan. He was fanatic for the 90s Bulls and was over the moon happy with his beloved Cubs championship run. Chirag was steadfastly dedicated to his large extended family and along with his brother and loving cousin (brother) Sanjeev, he was a founding member of Brother's Bargain Basement, which will now live on in his memory.


Service with eulogies will be on Saturday, November 12, from 2:00p.m to 3:00pm. Visitation will follow from 3:00p.m. to 5:00p.m. Cremation will be held at 5:00p.m. for immediate family members. Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory is located at 950 South Bartlett Road (at Stearns Road) Bartlett. Cremation will take place at Countryside Crematory.
