Claire G. (Carter) Sanden, 68, of Elk Grove Village, Il, peacefully went to be with her Lord Sunday, June 16, 2019, a month after being diagnosed with congestive heart failure. She was born January 31, 1951, in Denver, Colorado. She married the love of her life, Robert, on September 27, 1969. She was a homemaker whose love for her family and her Lord grew stronger with every year. She was very active in her church, The Orchard, in Itasca. She was the beloved wife of Robert, mother of Angel (Bob) Boldt, Kara Sanden, and Jason (Wendy) Sanden. She was known as “Jamma” to her twelve grandchildren: Jack (Liz) Boldt, Melanie (Roger) Solorio, Jameson Boldt, Charles (Eryn) Boldt, Samuel Boldt, Henry Boldt, William Boldt, Elias Boldt, Veronica Sanden, Dina Sanden, J.R. Sanden, and Bella Sanden. She also had four great-grandchildren: Tyler and Colton Boldt (Jack and Liz), Aiden Solorio (Melanie and Roger), and Ryan Sanden (Veronica). She had one sister, Leah. Memorial service to be held Sunday, June 23, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at The Orchard, 716 E. George St. Itasca, Il 60143.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations be made to support the youth missions trip to minister to underprivileged First Nations youth in British Columbia, Canada.
