Obituary for Diane Fry

Diane Sophie Fry nee Bolsega of Bartlett, Il passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2009. A long-time resident of WoodDale, she was born in Chicago on August 27, 1940 to Matthew and Genevieve Bolsega. Her parents preceded her in death.
Diane was the beloved wife of James D. Fry, who she married on October 18, 1958. He preceded her in death on June 14, 2001. In addition to being a lifelong homemaker, wife and mother, she worked for a number of years at Fannie May and later at GNC, both in WoodDale.
Diane was a lover of animals who was involved with a number of animal and wildlife rescue organizations. A one-time league bowler, Diane also enjoyed games of all sorts, from poker to Scrabble to the Sunday crossword. She also had an eclectic taste in films and literature, everything from the classics to romances to mysteries. Most of all, Diane cherished spending time with her children and her granddaughter, and they with her.
Diane was the beloved mother of James (Joyce), Jeffrey (Jacki) and Debra (Rick); cherished grandmother of Alexandra; loving sister of Dennis (Judy); dear cousin and niece to numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services for Diane will be private.
