Obituary for Donna Drewes

Donna Lee Drewes nee Dobbins, age 77, beloved wife of 59-years to Allen (Bud) Drewes, loving mother to Laura (Michael) Pelinski, Gordon (Lisa) Drewes, Susan (Brian) Zich, and David (Judy) Drewes, proud grandmother to Nick (Tina), Erik (Maria), Brad, Amber (Greg), Andrew (Mary), Danielle (Eric), Shannon, Becky (Justin), Kimberly, Matt, Ashley, Connor (Danielle), Hannah, Emily, Sydney, and Sabrina, very proud great-grandmother to Justin, Hannah, Eva, Adelina, Olivia, Jackson, Samarah, John, Evelyn, Rolf, and Bernadette, treasured aunt to dozens, went home to her savior on Thursday, January 26, 2017, peacefully with Bud at her side, following a multi-year battle with cancer. Donna is preceded in death by her parents Delbert and Olive Dobbins, brother Delbert and sister Kathryn. Donna’s love for Jesus and passion for life impacted many lives; especially with her love for music and desire to help people! Visitation and funeral services will be held at New Life Community Church, 1580 E. Chicago St. (Rt. 19), Elgin, IL 60120. Visitation will be Thursday February 2nd, 2017 from 3:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral service Friday, February 3rd, 2017, beginning at 10:00am; Interment Memory Gardens, 2501 E. Euclid Ave., Arlington Heights, IL.
