Obituary for Edith Wuestenfeld

Edith M. Wuestenfeld (nee Puryear) was called to her husband's side with the lord on June 26, 2017. She passed peacefully with her family by her side. She was born on the family farm in Wilson, VA, on January 14, 1917. She celebrated her 100th birthday this past January with her entire family. Edith was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her loving husband William J. Wuestenfeld, her parents, Earle & Marguerite Puryear, her brothers, Rudolph and Earle Victor Puryear and her sister Catherine Laws.


She is survived by her very loving family, children Eugene Wuestenfeld, Patricia (Grant) McDonald, Douglas (Krystyna) Wuestenfeld, Tom (Kathy) Wuestenfeld, Mary Margaret ( the late Robert) Frank, Phillip Wuestenfeld , Ken (Anne) wuestenfeld , Kathy (Frank) feit, and Rick (Jone) Wuestenfeld; her 25 granchildren, 47 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
