Obituary for Elizabeth Shults

Elizabeth Ann Shults, 52, of Evansville, WI, formerly of Carpentersville, died tragically in an auto accident on Tuesday, June 1, 2010. Born September 28, 1957. She was employed as a medical coder for the last five years with Mercy Medical Systems in Harvard. She also taught medical coding out of Milwaukee. Elizabeth had a great passion for gardening, antiques and cooking, especially baking. There wasn’t anything she couldn’t fix. Elizabeth especially loved animals.
Survivors include parents Gerald and Margaret (nee Fransen) of Mt. Sterling, KY; three sisters Sandra Norling of Austin, TX, Lisa (Rick) Stepson of Elgin and Vicki Barthel of Lake Norden, SD and brother Gerald Jr. (Mitzi) of Cincinnati; and her nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her goddaughter Tammy Johnson of Joliet and special friend Fred Bellman of Evansville.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 5, 2010 from 2 – 6p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home, 95 S. Gilbert St. (at Middle Rd), South Elgin. Following the visitation, cremation will be private at Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Anderson Animal Shelter, 1000 S. LaFox St, South Elgin, IL 60177.
