Frieda Gallien
Frieda G. Gallien (nee Kohls), 88, of Schaumburg. Beloved wife of the late Edmond Mutter and Wilfred Gallien; loving mom of Dale (Linda), Todd (Barbara), Cary (Janine), Holly (Keith) York, Adam (Angie), Neil (Donna) and the late Syndi; cherished grandma of Nicole, Suzanne (Joseph), Christopher (Karen), Ryan (Jennifer), Sadie (Kyle), Evan (Jennifer), Spencer (Veronica), Eric, Tyler (Allison), Austin (Lea), Shana (Alex), Cameron, Carly, Ellie as well as many great and great-great grandchildren; caring daughter of the late George and Rhoda (nee Felix) Kohls; kind sister of Rhoda and the late George and Hope; dear aunt to nieces and nephews. Frieda always put her family first. She was a hard worker, loved to cook and took pride in entertaining family and friends, attend the theater, and was an avid mystery reader. Frieda loved to tell jokes and share stories of her life. She took great joy in listening to music played by her children and grandchildren. Her last wishes were for family and friends to have a party, drink beer and for Todd to play her favorite song list on his banjo. Visitation 10:00a.m. until time of service 12:00 noon Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett. Interment St Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
