Obituary for Gertrude "Trudy" Grendzinski
Visitation for Gertrude Marie "Trudy" Grendzinski, nee Koziol, of Roselle, IL, retired to Tempe, AZ, will be held Monday, February 27, 2017 from 3:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 333 S. Roselle Rd. (1/2 mile south of Irving Park Rd.) Roselle. Funeral Tuesday 10:15 a.m. to St. Walter Church, Mass 11:00 a.m. Interment All Saints.
Born May 25, 1932 in Chicago, Trudy went to live with the Lord on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 from Tempe, AZ.
Trudy was a stay at home mother for many years. She began working as an accountant for Greeley and Hansen, an engineering firm in Chicago, in 1978 and worked there until her retirement in 1996.
She is the beloved wife of 65 years of Casimer W. "Casey"; loving mother of Susan (Sal) Lazzara, Sharon (James) Dunn, John (Christine) and the late Jerry; cherished grandmother of Michelle, Michael (Heather) and Richard Grendzinski, Thomas (Dru), Casey, and Daniel (Kristie) Lazzara, Jennifer Dunn, Cheryl (Peter) McNally, Allison, Katrina, Matthew and Joseph Grendzinski; proud great grandmother of Taylor, Alex, Reagan, Zachary, Hannah, Kennedy, Makinley, Emersyn, Adelynn, Danny and Gunner; dear sister of Joan (James) O'Grady, Virginia "Sippi" (the late Ed) Chiappetta and Ed (Sue) Koziol; many loving nieces and nephews.
