Condolence From: Jeanne Leininger of Palatine, IL
Condolence: Gladys will always be my best example of a person with a simple, humble, happy servant spirit. Now she is among those most honored in Heaven. (Mark 10:43-45) Her joy, love, kindness, and contentment were contagious -- we are all better for having had her in our lives.

Mark, thanks for sharing her with me and my family.

Condolence From: Steve Durrant of St. Charles, IL
Condolence: If God created a sweeter, more caring, attentive, disciplined, and devoted person than Gladys, I've not crossed paths with that person in my fifty years. Gladys came closer than anyone I've known to following Jesus' perfect example in how she lived her life, loved God and loved people.

I will miss you on Earth Gladys.

Condolence From: Carol Durrant of St. Charels, IL
Condolence: Gladys had such a ready smile and a listening ear. She was a great encourager, and so willing to help out quietly behind the scenes without ever looking for praise. She was a wonderful woman, and I already miss her.

Condolence From: Pam Nelsen of Elk Grove Village, IL
Condolence: Gladys was an amazing lady! I remember so many times seeing her out walking to the grocery store or the library in Elk Grove. And those were not short strolls! She put many of us couch potatoes to shame with the miles she would walk.

My parents lived down the street from Gladys, so she would ride with them to our church, Elk Grove Baptist. She quickly became like a part of our family. She was such a cheerful lady and a willing helper with so many things. What a sweetheart.

Your family is in our prayers!
