Gus Chochos, 84 of Bartlett (formerly of Rogers Park); diehard Cubs fan; beloved husband of Lucy Chochos (Dykyj); loving father of Christina Saflarski and Laura (Steve) Healey; devoted son of the late George and Clara Chochos; proud Papou to Lily Plebanski and Sophie Saflarski and Step-Grandfather to Laura (Zack) McBride and Kimberly (Jared) VanDerMolen; dear brother of the late Harriett (the late Leo) Stratigakes, the late Margaret (the late Nicholas) Sfickas, the late Pete Chochos, the late Jennie (the late Phil) Puzzo, and the late Evangeline (the late Dick) Robison, fond Brother-In-Law to Zenio (Patience Pitman) Krutyholowa and Eugene Krutyholowa; caring Uncle to George (Vickie) Stratigakes, the late Tom (Barbara) Stratigakes, Margaret Lee (Ron) DeVito, Nick (Phyllia) Stratigakes, Jeanne (Bob) Figaro, Katrina Krutyholowa and Alysia Krutyholowa. Gus was best known for his love of the Cubs and his personable attitude towards everyone he met and the love he had for his friends and family.

Visitation Tuesday, September 19th 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd., (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Funeral Wednesday, 11:30 a.m. Following services cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.

In lieu of flowers and Mass cards, charitable contributions will be donated to Seasons Hospice by the family. Info (630)289-7575
