Obituary for James Caruso

James Caruso, 67, of Schaumburg. A veteran of the U.S. navy and Naval Reserve, he served aboard the USS Enterprise and was on the ship when it was commissioned. He was a member of Millwright Local 1693. Beloved husband of Donna (nee Mattioda); loving father to Dr. James L. (Pamela) of the U.S. Navy, Louis J (Jamie) and Michael R.; cherished grandfather to Erica, Amanda and Samantha; dear son to the late James V. and Angeline (nee Lombardi); fond brother to Nicholas (Dianna), Victor (Sandra) and Anthony (Denise); and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Visitation Monday 3-9p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 333 S. Roselle Rd (1/2 mile south of Irving Park Rd), Roselle. Funeral Tuesday 10a.m. Following services cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
