Obituary

Marilyn was born on May 7, 1933 and she died peacefully at home on Sunday May 16, 2021.

After Bill died she made her home with "the girls" (even though we alllllll know that Will was her favorite) and lived as a family with her daughters Lori and Kathy for 14 years. There was a lot of laughing and fun, a few trips to the casino and thousands of doughnuts!

She missed Bill terribly and in recent months she shared here-to-now untold stories about her sister Doris and her brother Teddy and talked a lot about how much she missed them. Doris was her partner in week-end trips to Three Oaks, Michigan and stalking deals at garage-sales and Teddy (in their youth) would take her on long motorcycle rides just to make her dad mad. She smiled when she talked about them. She smiled big!

Marilyn was a woman of simple pleasures, had a warm way about her and was the most loving person. Lori, Kathleen, Will and his wife Carmen and granddaughter Kayla are so grateful for all the years they were able to enjoy her. They are going to miss her like crazy.

Due to covid-19 restrictions a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Dear Krevis Family,
We cannot find the exact words to express the immense pain we feel for loosing our dear Marylin, we are going to miss her tremendously. At the same time, we feel privileged and extremely proud of all the moments we shared with her as part of her family. She will always live in our hearts, her adorable and kind smile, all her advice, words of wisdom and the love she gave us every minute we share together will illuminate our paths as the bright star she always was. We love you all very very much.
Oscar, Rebeca & Rudy.

Dear Lori, Kathy and Little Will - at least that's what your parents referred to Will as in the Wood Dale years :)
Sorry to hear of your Mom's passing, but what a way to go. I remember your mom as being always there and I admired her for the swimming she used to do, even in her later years. She was one tough lady, and I never wanted to do anything wrong to upset her when I'd come over and play because I knew it would get back to my parents in an instant. Great memories of both your parents and the sometimes water logged house in Wood Dale. I am certain your Mom is next to your Dad, reunited above. RIP Mrs. Krevis!

I did not know Marilyn personally but, just by knowing her son Will and his wife Carmen I know that she had to be an amazing mother! So much joy, love and caring instilled in them by her. My condolences to you and your family ā¤

Dear Lori,

Iā€™m so sorry to hear about your mom. Sherri Radeck told me. I remember her well from the sleep overs we use to have. Lost my mom a few months ago, so I know how you all feel. šŸ˜“. Stay well, Vicki.
