Obituary for Mary Flemming

Mary K. Flemming (nee O'Brien), 71, of Streamwood, passed away from complications due to diabetes on September 29, 2017 after a long and heroic battle. Born August 28, 1946, at Leretto Hospital in Chicago. Mary was a graduate of Saint Ferdinand Parish School and Notre Dame. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends from traveling, playing games, or singing favorite songs.
Beloved wife of 29 years to the late Michael; caring mother of Donna (David) Ludtke; adoring grandmother to Jesse; loving sister-in-law to Judy O'Brien, Charles Flemming and Mary (Wes) Holm; devoted aunt to Pam (Frank) Nuenthel, James (Marcy), Mark (Judy), Kevin (April) Flemming, Dawn and Melissa Holm; great aunt to Franky Nuenthel and others.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Helen O'Brien; brother, Dennis O'Brien; sister-in-law, Lois Flemming; aunt, Mary Cantwell and uncle, Monsignor Daniel M. Cantwell.
She will be in our hearts forever.
